Pada Rabu, 03 Mei 2023, Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) dan Pemadam Kebakaran Kota Madiun melalui Kepala Bidang Penegakan Perundang – Perundangan beserta jajarannya mengadakan pertemuan dengan Kantor Bea dan Cukai di ruangan aula kantor Satpol PP & Damkar Kota Madiun. Pertemuan ini diadakan untuk membahas program kerja Satpol PP dan Damkar Kota Madiun terkait penggunaan dana bagi hasil cukai.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Kepala Bidang Penegakan Perundang – Undangan menyampaikan bahwa Satpol PP akan memanfaatkan dana bagi hasil cukai yang diterima dari Bea dan Cukai untuk memperkuat operasi penertiban dan pengawasan di Kota Madiun. Dana tersebut akan digunakan untuk kegiatan sosialisasi, penggunaan media dan membeli peralatan dan perlengkapan yang dibutuhkan oleh petugas Satpol PP dalam menjalankan tugasnya.

Selain itu, dana bagi hasil cukai juga akan digunakan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendidikan kepada petugas Satpol PP agar mereka dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan kemampuan dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Pelatihan tersebut meliputi pelatihan teknis tentang penertiban dan pengawasan, pelatihan dalam penanganan kasus hukum, dan pelatihan dalam bidang kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja.

Kepala Bidang Penegakkan Peraturan Perundang – Undangan, Drs Supriyono juga menekankan bahwa penggunaan dana bagi hasil cukai ini akan dilakukan secara transparan dan akuntabel. Setiap pengeluaran akan dicatat secara rinci dan diatur sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku.

Setelah mendengarkan presentasi dari Kepala Bidang Penegakkan Peraturan Perundang – Undangan , Pihak dari Bea dan Cukai memberikan apresiasi atas program kerja Satpol PP tersebut dan menyatakan dukungannya untuk kegiatan yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik dan peningkatan tugas pengawasan dan penertiban oleh Satpol PP.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, terjadi kesepakatan antara Kepala Satpol PP dan Kantor Bea dan Cukai bahwa kerja sama ini akan terus dijalin dan ditingkatkan untuk meningkatkan kinerja masing-masing instansi dalam mewujudkan keamanan, ketertiban, dan ketentraman masyarakat di wilayah yang mereka layani.
